Hickory Consortium is working with startup Greentech Housing factory to deliver modular housing this year in the Worcester, MA area. The first duplex, slated to be erected on Beacon Street, is one of three duplexes ordered from Greentech by Main South Community Development Corp. The CDC hopes to build 80 units of affordable housing during the next four years on vacant lots in the Kilby-Gardner-Hammond streets area of Worcester.
